Thanks in advance.Having now reistalled Win TV 8.5 at least 5 times, I contacted Hauppage over the problem for assistance. I've tried using WinTV Extend with port 7799 forwarded to the PC in my Virgin Media SuperHub 2 port forwarding settings, but I can't seem to get that working in my browser or in the WinTV Extend app on my iPad. Is there some way I can get this working? I don't want to have to keep swapping video cables between my Mac and the PC just to watch TV. I went into the settings and tried all of the combinations of video renderer settings: Overlay, VMR7, VMR9, and EVR, both with and without hardware acceleration but I can't get any video to show. There is also an onboard Intel graphics chip which I believe is disabled in the BIOS. The PC has an Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050i graphics card in a slot on the (Asus P8Z77M) motherboard. It seems that perhaps WinTV is writing directly to the display hardware. The window opens and I hear the sound but the window is blank. I have my PC running headless and I've connected to it via AnyDesk remote desktop software on my MacBook Pro 2020. ![]()
